Sozni is a beautiful heritage hand embroidery tradition from Kashmir. The detailed needlework appears on just one side of the fabric, while the back stays smooth and clean, making it special. Our artisans work with fine silk or cotton colored threads on soft cashmere, pashmina, or fine wool, creating complex patterns that tell a story. This technique gives them the freedom to create more complex designs, but it's not easy work. Each article can take months to complete, and it requires patience. Every stitch is placed by hand with incredible care and precision. When you hold a Sozni article, you're holding centuries of Kashmiri artistry and tradition.
