Hashidaar Shawl, Stole & Scarf
Hashidaar shawls are Kashmiri pieces where the embroidery is concentrated along the borders and edges, framing the fabric while leaving the central field largely plain to showcase the natural beauty of the pashmina. The word Hashidaar means “having borders” in Kashmiri. These shawls feature mostly Sozni embroidery (fine needlework) along the four sides, sometimes with corner motifs, but the middle remains uncluttered. This creates a balance between minimalist sophistication and traditional craftsmanship.
